There is a huge difference between being a manager and being a leader!! In this episode Soctt Stewart and Brad McKinney talk about the differences being a manager, and being a leader.

Manager:

Management gets into the nitty gritty of employee behavior. The managers job is to make sure each employee’s behavior is aligned with the goals of the business.

Most of the time management is about managing the min by min actions of the people in the company.

Leader:

Leaders bring out the best in employees. A leader coaches the long term game, and directs the overall vision of the company.

As a leader, you are responsible for changing the systems of your organization to increase long term capacity.
